Abstract

ABSTRACTCaries activity tests are based on the concept of a specific odontopathic infection, the principle causative organism being Streptococci mutans. The Oratest is found to be a simple chair side, less time-consuming, and inexpensive caries activity test. This test was performed on 60 school-going children to estimate the efficacy of the test. High statistical significance was found when the means of control and test group were compared (p=0.001).How to cite this article:Chandak S, Kesri R, Bhardwaj A.
