Abstract
In the current paper, we estimate the rate of pointwise convergence of the Chlodowsky-type Bernstein operators Cn(f,x) for functions defined on the interval [0,bn], for bn → ∞ as n → ∞, which are of bounded variation on [0, ∞). To prove our main result, we have used some methods and techniques from probability theory.
