Abstract
Hoplolaimus proporicus n.sp. wird beschrieben und abgebildet. Der Nematode wurde im Zusammenleben mit den Wurzeln der Ölpalme Elaeis guineensis gefunden. H. proporicus weicht von allen Hoplolaimus- Arten insofern ab, als er keine lateralen Felder aufweist und die Ringe rund um den Körper verlaufen mit Ausnahme an den beiden Enden des Nematoden, wo sie in der Seitenlinie etwas unterbrochen sind.
