Abstract

Rotylenchus sheri n. sp., was found in large numbers in soil samples from around the roots of Cedrus libani var. deodara from Simla (H.P.) North India. It is characterized by the size of the body (averaging 1 mm) and spear (averaging 35 ); four crenate incisures in the lateral fields and in having digonic hermaphroditism.
