Abstract

An analysis was made of the activity of the egg parasite Trichogramma minutum Riley during a 5-year period of a spruce budworm outbreak. No evidence of a population trend by the parasite or of a relationship in rate of attack to host density could be found. No distribution pattern of the parasite could be shown in the infested crown. There did not appear to be any relationship between rate of attack and egg-mass size.
