Abstract
The response prediction of aerospace sandwich panels is studied though a numerical simulation based on Statistical Energy Analysis. The influence on the structural response to the launch acoustic environment of the design parameter, such as core type, thickness and number of ribs, is examined. The numerical results show a great sensitivity of the panel response to parameter variations and can be used for design selection.
