Abstract

Diptenchus indicus n. gen., n. sp. is characterized by the presence of the median oesophageal bulb located in the anterior half of oesophagus, set-off basal oesophageal bulb with a distinct valve, prodelphic outstretched gonad, absence of posterior uterine sac and short, conoid tail.
