Abstract
This article provides an overview of domestic and foreign progress of several aspects of tissue culture including micropropagation ,anther culture, protoplast culture, embryogenesis, organogenesis, and transformation of kenaf bast fiber crops . Problems and prospects on tissue culture and transformation were also discussed in this paper, raised some opinions of further research, in order to provide the scientific basis for promoting the hemp crops tissue culture and genetic transformation study.
