Abstract
A previously published article, “A Dynamic Systems View of the Transformational Process of Mirroring” (VanDerHeide, 2009), highlighted the relational nature of the mirroring process and the usefulness of a complex systems perspective in considering psychoanalytic action. This precis serves to contextualize the discussion articles that follow, by Dr. Sandra Hershberg and Dr. Tessa Philips, respectively.
