Abstract
The complete set of fundamental optical spectra for zinc oxide at 100 K is calculated in the range 0–25 eV using experimental reflection spectra and Kramers–Kronig relations. The dielectric permittivity and electron energy loss spectra are decomposed into transverse and longitudinal elementary components using combined Argand diagrams, and the principal parameters of the components are evaluated.
