Abstract
2006 marked the tenth anniversary of the Bodycote Prize Paper competition, the final stages of which took place on 20 March 2006 in the beautiful city of Prague. As usual, the final formed part of the Bodycote Annual Management Workshop. Over the past 10 years the Prize Paper has become highly prestigious among young materials researchers and the five finalists had emerged from a strong field of candidates.
