Abstract
"I regret to say that the response from industry has been most disappointing." Mr H. V. Kirk, Northern Ireland Minister of Labour, made this comment on the Ulster Government's 'Additional Apprenticeship' scheme (see p 3, August 1962 issue) when he made a progress report on the scheme to the Northern Ireland Commons on 14th November.
