Abstract
A method and arrangements using headphones are described which give a true reproduction of the sound images that arise normally with single or multi-channel loudspeaker systems. By employing the method described it is possible to play-back the usual programme material provided for loudspeaker presentation (radio, records, tapes, etc.) in such a way that typical headphone distortions are avoided. This avoidance applies especially to the sound images localized in the listener's head.
