Abstract
Many characterizations of semipreconnected (=β-connected) spaces are obtained by Aho and Nieminen [2]. In this paper, we obtain further characterizations of semipreconnected spaces. We introduce β-separated and βs-connected sets and by using these sets we obtain several properties of β-connected subspaces.
