Abstract
The article presents a comparative analysis of some Western (in particular, American) and Russian approaches in Educational Management. Through commenting on Cuban's wellknown book I: (1) reveal the difference of language and terms used; (2) show the deep cultural differences in thinking and in the methods and ways scholars study the field; (3) demonstrate, moreover, that directly transforming some conceptions to another cultural footing may be counterproductive; and (4) prove that, nevertheless, the usage of alien approaches may essentially facilitate mutual enrichment in the field if scholars do not argue but comment to each other.
