Abstract

Long time aging effect for hydrostatic piezoelectric sensitivity gh and dielectric susceptibility of 0-3 type Sn2P2S6/epoxy composites is studied. The increase of gh coefficient with time after poling is found to be accompanied by stabilization of poled state due to screening of ferroelectric polarization in the crystalline particles. The nature of the internal electric fields stabilizing poled state in composites is discussed. The temperature dependence of pyroelectric coefficient of the composites with various Sn2P2S6 volume fraction have been measured.
