Abstract

An accurate electrostatic potential at the nucleus for He through Ar has been obtained via a 1/Z expansion of the estimated exact non-relativistic total energies. The present tabulations correct errors in a recent article by Alonso, J. A., Cordero, N. A., and March, N. H., 1996, Molec. Phys., 88, 1365, and refine our previous data (Wang, J., and Smith, V. H. Jr., 1995, Phys. Rev. A, 52, 1060).
