80后出生的叶丽将自己生病的爷爷、奶奶从乡下接到城里的家中赡养，并为他们治病。叶丽的丈夫叶泽春虽然支持她，这却引起婆婆和泽春奶奶的不满。她们认为叶丽的行为不仅影响到了泽春的生活，而且也剥夺了孩子们对她们的爱。于是她们想方设法阻止叶丽行孝，甚至让她大受欺辱。
