Abstract
AbstractA tick which bit the glans penis of a 40‐year‐old Japanese man was surgically excised together with the skin where the bite occurred. It was identified as Amblyomma testudinarium through the taxonomical investigation of its morphological characteristics. To our best knowledge, our patient is the sixth tick bite from this species of tick recorded in the Chugoku District of Japan.
