Description

The NIGHTINGALE Project, started on the 1st of January 1996 for a duration of 36-months, is essentially about planning and implementation of strategy in training the nursing profession when using and applying healthcare information systems. In order to achieve this objective the NIGHTINGALE Project established a series of European Conferences on Health Telematics Education, and workshops by experts (users, developers and policymakers). The proceedings of the 1st year of conferences and workshops, Health Telematics Education, was also published in this series. The current volume includes the proceedings of the 2nd European Conference on Health Telematics Education (6-8 November 1997, Lisbon, Portugal); the 3rd Users and Policymakers Group Workshop (9-11 May 1997, Lojt Kirkeby, Denmark); the 2nd Developers and Multimedia Group Workshop (30 May-1 June 1997, Marathon, Greece) and the 4th Users and Policymakers Group Workshop (9 November 1997, Lisbon, Portugal).
