Abstract

AbstractFour new species of Cheloninae wasps are described: Odontosphaeropyx bicoloratus Braet sp. nov. from Namibia and Tanzania, O. mkomaziensis Kittel sp. nov. from Tanzania, and Dentigaster ucayali Braet sp. nov. and Dentigaster giuglarisi Braet sp. nov. from French Guiana and Peru. Dentigaster warana Braet and Fretey, 1997 syn. nov. is recognised as a junior synonym of D. barbarella Zettel, 1990. Updated keys to species of Odontosphaeropyx and Dentigaster are provided. New distribution records for O. ruficeps Cameron, 1910, Dentigaster tenuiventris Zettel, 1990, and Dentigaster brullei Braet and Sharkey, 2012 are included.
