This book focuses on the visions and philosophies that have produced modern poeticism and contributed to the formation of traditional and modern Arabic criticism, and thus led to the formation of Arab literary modernity. It seeks to provide a critical view on poeticism that concerns with the study of literary genres, forms and their ideological classifications. It also seeks to evaluate Arab literary studies in its dealing with the translated concepts and critical theories that call for modernity. This book is concerned with the theme of poeticism in light of the incorrect use of this concept in many earlier Arab studies which dealt with this concept, combining poetry and poetic studies as a research in literature and poetry studying methods, and analysis of texts seeking their aesthetics according to the researches in semantics and modern linguistics
