Abstract
IraqiPalestinian relations are a historical affirmation of the strength of pan-Arabism across the years. The introduction of a US military presence in the region that led to an Israel-centric Middle East policy, introduced new strains on that relationship. The American intervention challenged the basic tenets of secular pan-Arabism and may lead to a redefinition of the Arab strategic doctrine.
