Abstract

The asymmetric unit of the title structure, C27H24Br2P+·Br−, comprises two [(CH3C6H3CHBr2)(C6H5)3P]+ cations and two bromide anions. The cations exhibit closely comparable conformations, with a slight distortion from tetra­hedral geometry around P.
