Abstract
In this paper, the background and the concept of two-layer porous asphalt are firstly introduced. The development of two-layer porous asphalt is stated. The properties of asphalt binder and aggregates, mixture design methods and construction technology are then analyzed. In addition, the typical structure and noise reducing property in different countries are also discussed. This study provides technical support and information for developing two-layer porous asphalt in China.
