Abstract

This paper presents the types of nanomaterials whose technology requires drying during processing. The methods of drying of three groups of nanomaterials are discussed: nanoparticles, nanolayers (nanofilms), and nanoporous materials. Principally the method of spray drying using ultrasonic nebulizers and electrospraying is presented for the first group. The Langmuir–Blogget technique is presented for the second group. The method of supercritical drying and the solvent replacement technique is described for the third group. Technological aspects of the presented methods are also briefly described.
