Abstract
The effect of the electric potential on the surface tension of silicon iron is studied. The effects of the electric potential on the microhardness and the surface tension coefficient of silicon iron are found to have the same character. A linear relation between the electric potential and the surface tension is detected at φ ≤ 1 V.
