Abstract

Numerical study of low speed gas flows by actual statistical simulation methods requires huge computational resources. Instead, it is proposed to apply a deterministic finite-difference method of solution of the Boltzmann kinetic equation proposed by the author. The description of the method and some examples of computations are presented.
