Abstract

Loasifolin (1), a new highly oxygenated flavonoid, has been isolated from Eremostachys loasifolia and its structure is assigned on the basis of spectroscopic data including 1D and 2D NMR techniques. 6,7-Dihydroxycoumarin (2) and luteolin 4'-O--d-glucopyranoside (3) have also been isolated for the first time from the genus Eremostachys.
