Abstract
A new circuit element referred to as an operational conveyor comprising an operational amplifier and a current conveyor is discussed. Some of its characteristics are examined and shown to be superior to those of a current conveyor. Its application in a novel current amplifier is presented. The amplifier circuit is accurate, wideband and has a gain-independent bandwidth. It can also drive grounded loads.
