Abstract

The postembryonic development of Evalljapyx facetus L. Smith (Evalljapyginae) was found similar to that of Japyginae as reported by various authors and summarized hero; in these two families the female lays a cluster of eggs hanging from a single stalk. In Parajapyx isabellae (Grassi) (Parajapyginae) the development differs from that in the other subfamilies, and here the female lays eggs singly, each suspended from its own stalk.
