Abstract
After repeated attempts to collect an adult of Grylloblatta barberi Caudell, which was described from immature specimens more than 35 years ago, one was found at the type locality in Plumas County, California. Two new species here described from California ice caves are G. chandleri from Lassen County and G. gurneyi from Modoc County. The distribution of Grylloblatta, especially the Pacific Coast species, coincides closely with areas subject to glaciation during the Wisconsin period. Maps demonstrate this correlation and also show topographic barriers between species groups.
