Abstract

Ctcnophthalmus levanticus is described and illustrated. It is a common ectoparasite of the mole rat, Spalax ehrenbergi Nehring, 1898, in the Republic of Lebanon. Sporadic occurrence of a fourth spine in the genal ctenidium is discussed.
