Abstract

Descriptions of adults, larva, protonymph, and deutonymph of Eutrachytes maya, n. sp., are presented, along with notes on the relationship of Eutrachytes to the genusDeraiophorus. A key is given for separating the Eutrachytes “complex” of genera from related lower uropodines. The ontogenetic development of the posterolateral protuberances and of the fovae pedales found to occur in E. maya is discussed.
