Abstract

To study mating behavior of Heliothis virescens F., H. zea (Boddie), and Cochliomyia hominvorax (Co querel) under field conditions, we placed clipped-wing females on vegetation on a table. These females attracted males and direct observations of mating competitivene was possible.
