Abstract
Liquid nitrogen pitfall traps were used to collect Pterostichus chalcites and P. lucublandus (Carabidae) beetles in black cutworm-infested cornfields. Results of testing using serological techniques show that a minimum of 10.2% of 49 P. chalcites and 4.1% of 121 P. lucublandas had ingested black cutworm protein in the 24 hr period prior to capture.
