Abstract
Two species of gall midges of the tribe Lasiopterini associated with Atriplex spp. are redescribed. Neolasioptera willistoni (Cockerell), new combination, forms several types of stem galls and is highly variable in size and anatomical detail depending upon its host species. Lasioptera tibialis Felt has hosts in both Chenopodiaceae and Scrophulariaceae.
