Abstract
Abstract. We investigate the e .ects of introducing analyticit constraints in coupled channel analyses for the low-energ —KN sector.Thisisdoneb studying amplitudes compatible, within the error bounds, with the solution from an existent e .ective-range M -matrix parametrization which covers data from the —KN threshold up to q =550 MeV/c,and determining if the values of the parameters of M ,the coupling constants G 2 . .. and G 2 . .. ,and the product G . .. G . .. —extracted using un-subtracted .xed-t forward DR —di .er for those amplitudes which ful .ll the proposed analyticit constraints and those which are rejected b the same criteria. We also investigate the e .ects of introducing constraints on the mass and width of the .(1405)and .(1385) resonances and the stabilit of the parametrization.
