Abstract

Lactarius annulocystidiatus, a new species of subgenus Tristes, is found associated with Quercus leucotrichophora. It is characterized by its granular pleurocystidia, with granulations clustered in annular rings around the cystidial tips. Macro- and microscopic features and data on ecological distribution are presented.
