Abstract
When a temporary forest road is being closed, it may be desirable to restore its takeoff to something approaching undisturbed conditions. A full-restoration method has proven effective in central Washington State, particularly when appearance of the site or elimination of vehicular traffic is a critical concern. Although relatively simple, full restoration requires better planning and higher cost allowances than other restoration methods.
