Abstract
The general forestry or forest management curriculum of each of the 42 SAF-accredited institutions that offered a four-year baccalaureate degree in forestry in 1983 was dissected into categories of required coursework. Averages were compiled for four geographic regions. Forestry education as reflected by these averages is remarkably consistent among regions.
