Abstract
After an overwhelming vote by users and other attendees, the Canadian Light Source Annual Users' Meeting was moved from its traditional cold and grey third weekend in November to an unfortunately wet and grey third weekend in June. The Users' Meeting was held as part of a joint conference with the Canadian Federation of Biological Sciences from June 13 to 17, 2006. Entitled "Shedding Light on Biological Processes," the meeting provided several opportunities for synchrotron experts from Canada and abroad to showcase the effectiveness of many SR techniques to answering biological questions.
