Abstract
Densities and refractive indices at the temperature 298.15 K of { x 1 CH 3 COCH 3 + x 2 CH 3 OH + (1 - x 1 - x 2 )CH 3 (CH 2 ) 4 OH} and of the corresponding binary mixtures: { x CH 3 COCH 3 + (1 - x )CH 3 (CH 2 ) 4 OH}, and { x CH 3 OH + (1 - x )CH 3 (CH 2 ) 4 OH}, have been determined experimentally as a function of the mole fraction at atmospheric pressure. Values of densities were determined by an Anton-Paar DMA 46 densimeter and refractive indices by the automatic refractometer ABBEMAT-HP Dr Kernchen. Variable-degree polynomials have been fitted to the results.
