Abstract

A 17-year-old man was severely injured including a fractured pelvis and a degloving injury to the lumbar, sacral, and gluteal regions. After multiple revisions, a 6×7 cm wide×10 cm deep defect in the sacral area was successfully treated by transfer of a reversed turnover latissimus dorsi muscle flap. He is now fully mobilised three years later.
