Abstract

In this paper, the author calculates the absolute storage capacity of an associative memory with a specific type of non-monotone output function. The result calculated with the replica method is five times larger than the storage capacity of the conventional model. This result indicates that non-monotonicity of output function gives larger ability to the associative memory model.
