Abstract
In a hospital setting, the storage of oxygen cylinders is an important safety concern requiring specific steps and procedures. To develop storage practices that adhere to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) nonflammable medical gases safety codes, organizations must consider quantity, location, and construction. This article discusses the proper handling, volume, and transfilling of cylinders.
