Abstract

Brown and Caldwell was retained by Pima County Wastewater Management Department (PCWMD) to assess the condition and recommend improvements to 230 miles of trunks/interceptors (15-inches or greater in diameter) in one year. The scope of services conducted by Brown and Caldwell included: Review past assessments, other documentation, and pertinent records Investigate the unlined and lined concrete pipe sewers as a first priority Assess the condition of the siphons (11) utilizing state-of-the-art sonar technology Prepare recommendations for rehabilitation and identify maintenance needs.
