Abstract

The forty-fourth annual meeting of the Southeastern Branch was held at the Arlington Hotel, Hot Springs, Arkansas, January 26–29, 1970. The registrants included 192 regular members, 27 students, 7 invited guests, and 15 ladies. Chairman S. R Morris called the initial session to order at 9:00 A. M., January 27, 1970. The invocation was given by Gordon Barnes. An official welcome to Hot Springs was given by Charles E. Rixse, Manager, Hot Springs Convention Bureau, and Dr. E. M. Cralley, Director, Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station, gave a welcome to Arkansas.
