Abstract
At the 1985 Annual Meeting of the Entomological Society held in Uollywood, Fla., an informal conference was organized to discuss the status and role of women in entomology. Specifically, the conference addressed how women entomologists have fared throughout histoty as important contributors to manyaspects of the science, the solutions to some of the unique problems women as entomologists have faced, the improvements gained, and methods to increase the participation of women in entomology.
