Abstract
InTe–Cr_2Te_3 alloys were prepared and characterized by temperature-dependent magnetic measurements. The results lend support to earlier phase-diagram data indicating the formation of compounds with the compositions In_9Cr_2Te_12 and In_2Cr_6Te_11 . In_9Cr_2Te_12 is shown to be a ferromagnet, while In_2Cr_6Te_11 has a more complex magnetic structure.
